Children and Young People
Covid-19 - Please note that the groups below are not meeting at the moment, we do have a children's mailing list and send out regular activities via email. If you wish to go on the list please let us know.
Jesus said “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14)
Working with children and young people is a hugely important part of the ministry of the Coln River Group of Parishes. We believe that this is not just an “add-on” to our other work but is central to everything that we do.
Parents and young children are encouraged to come to any service and most of our churches have a space set aside for children. The
regular family or all-age services in each parish and the monthly
breakfast service, “Explore”, are of a less formal nature and are
particularly suitable for the younger members of our community.
These are the groups that usually meet to provide for the specific needs of various age-groups:-
